Memorial Day Attitude

Memorial Day week-end is coming up and I decided to celebrate with a little attitude. Since I'm over the hill (well past 50) and my body is puffy and saggy in all the wrong places, ruling out bikini swaggering, I discovered my feet are still worthy of chilin. Black with white polka dots seemed appropriate. Just in case you think I did this myself, think again. I can barely reach my feet because of major puffiness above my bikini line and my hand shakes from the pain in my back when I strain to reach them. But, hey, that sweet tiny Vietnamese lady did a great job, don't you think? I bring you my feet basking in the nice green lawn and then hanging over my porch swing on the back porch. I will not be on a yacht or floating down a lazy river this M day but I will be relaxing with my feet and celebrating the American dream of a carefree day off from work on my own back porch.
