Same day, second post--why not?

Check out what you can do with found stuff. My sister found this long skinny set of connected windows in an alley in Plano, Texas and being a creative person she knew that she should save it for someones creative pursuit.
While I was visiting from Houston, she showed it to me and together we decided on a great project. My very resourceful sister also had bought an architectural book with renderings of features that came in handy. You see, I was about to join with friends of mine who were starting a real estate brokerage in Houston called Red Door Realty & Associates. We came up with a great idea to put together a series of doors featuring a red door in the center of this "window frame". My theory is that it is one side of a set of mid-century french doors. What do you think?

  1. I absolutely love this! I love the "What now Hallie" title. This is all so you...Your'e awesome! I think letting people share creative projects they've done or maybe thinking about doing, is a great way to network. It seems to be an untouched subject that could grow fast- idea blogs.
The chicken is going to be a series, alternating colors, maybe even different profiles- ooh profiles of a chicken- would be a neat title. lol I'm going on to read more....

  2. We love our door series you've created at Red Door Realty Humble office. We have had many people stop and admire the creative touch and authenticity of the whole project. It's creative, it's unique, and we love it! The Red Door in the middle really pops- and makes a statement about our unique name and logo for our company. Thank you!
