15 Minutes of Fame

Andy Warhol said, "Every-

one is entitled to their 15 minutes of fame." My husband's was when he got a hole in one. His photo was in the paper and his name listed among those with the good fortune to have gotten one that year on the course that he played. I had to document this milestone and play it up because it probably was going to be a once in a lifetime event. As you can see his game ball, newspaper article, and photo have a place of honor. Before the hole in one he played golf 2 or 3 times a week. Since then he practically never plays. He says this is for lots of reasons but I think he just was satisfied with his achievement and doesn't want to compete with himself anymore. Anyway, I was proud of him and still am.
