For my last entry for Vintage Christmas Monday, I thought I would include this simple display from Anthropologie. Isn’t it amazing what can be done with a chalkboard? I don’t know about you, but this just takes me back to about the third grade. My teacher that year was kind of a witch but I can reimagine--(I like to make up words) her into the kind of teacher I needed…one that surprised us when we came into the classroom and we saw this on the blackboard…
Thanks to all who visited me for this special occasion and thank-you so much to Joan at Anything Goes Here.
Come back and visit anytime.
HI Kitt, love that chalkboard and the Christmas Carol written out. I only have one small chalkboard. That's one of my New Year projects...to do some!

ReplyDeleteOne of the first things I can remember learning how to draw in school was holly and on the blackboard (besides a hand traced turkey)! Thanks for a lovely memory!

I think the chalk board is simplicity at its best. Thanks for sharing! Sorry you had a mean 3rd grade teacher. No child should have to experience a mean teacher. Ever! ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteLove your nativity scene! I missed it last week. I wish I could write as neatly as whoever did the chalkboard!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Christmas Kitt!
