What do you do when you have too much pent up emotion?
What if it is too cold and wet to go
outside to dig in the dirt or smash some tennis balls?
enough to chomp into to expend that frustration.
Then after you polish that off...
Rip up the back off of a box of crackers...
And draw, doodle, paint and create...
Something...to explain those emotions...
Until another warm sunny day comes around.
And it always does.
And it always does.
Thank-you Lord!
Thank you for your prayers for little Emery!
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative!!!!!!!!!!!! Marg

Happy New Year
Hi Sweet Kitt. I've being wanting to drop by for days but the time just keeps getting away from me. That probably leaves you thinking that means I don't have time to read comments or to enjoy them. Well, let me tell you, No Ma'am that's just not the case! It couldn't be further from the truth.
ReplyDeleteDear Kitt, you have left me the dearest and kindess comments on the last two post. You just can't imagine the smile I carry after reading those comments. With Neil and Nadine (MIL) both home every day all day time goes by very quickly. As you can imagine I'm in the kitchen a lot. But your words go with me.
I know with so many blogs to visit it's so hard to leave a comment on all of them. That's why I appreciate you're sharing your time with me. Don't ever think that it's wasted because you never know how much your comment can mean to someone. They mean so much to me.
I am a true chocolate lover and those (haystacks maybe) look yummy!!! I love the bright cheery colors you've used and the thought that you took something that could have gone into the garbage and made something so special.
Lots of love and many many blessing my friend.
Hugs....Tracy :)
Oh yes..... crafting and snacking! No better combination! YUMMY FUN!
ReplyDeleteIf I could paint/draw like that, most definitely I would be doing so! So much fun your painting... And done on a box of crackers? Now what a fun way to recycle, I will get my kids busy with all the boxes we have around here. Hope the year 2010 is off to a great start for you. And, I love your new header!

Kitt,
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea and a sweet flower design from the back of a cracker box! How neat!
Thank you for visiting me and becoming a follower! I, too, like to craft with cereal boxes, cracker boxes, and paper bags etc. I am now working on a 8 x 11 box to hold homemade Vintage Stationary and some smaller boxes to hold the smaller Thank You Notes I designed! When I get my directions finished and patterns completed, I will post a link to you so you can visit my site to see if you'd like to make them for yourself!!
Keep up the great ideas! I will be visiting again and looking forward to reading your crafty posts and see what new ideas you have come up with to inspire us!! Have a great day and God Bless!
Thank you,
Kymberly
